TRENZA encourages Latino(a) students who meet ONE of the following criteria's to apply:

1. A UCB graduating senior enrolling into a master’s program in Education or Teaching Credential program at any university OR
2. A student currently enrolled at UCB Graduate School of Education OR
3. A Cal Alum currently enrolled in a master’s program in Education

Scholarship Amount: $750

Application deadline: August 5, 2012

To be considered for the scholarship, please submit a personal statement (up to 1,500 words in length, 12-point font and double spaced) describing your commitment to pedagogy and service to disadvantaged communities. E-mail your application, personal statement and resume as attachments (word documents) to: trenza.community@gmail.com

The recipient will be announced by August 15, 2012 and will receive his/her award with proof of enrollment in a graduate education program.
