After graduating from UC Berkeley Claudia moved to Chicago for graduate school and obtained an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a Counseling concentration. Claudia moved back to California and has worked as a case manager for many years in the non-profit sector, gaining her first management experience operating San Francisco’s largest family shelter. Just this year she started a new role as a Protective Services Worker for Family and Children’s Services for the City and County of San Francisco. She enjoys the opportunity to continue working for her beloved San Francisco, where she was born and raised. Claudia currently resides in the East Bay with her husband.
When not busy at work with families and youth, Claudia does her best to practice self-care. She likes to run, experiment in the kitchen, cheer on the Giants and Niners and travel with her husband. At Claudia’s wedding this past summer several Trenzudas were involved as bridesmaids, guests, and one special Trenzuda even designed and created the floral arrangements for the wedding. She knows that her TRENZA sisters are always going to be a part of her life hopes that other young women who are a part of TRENZA share that same feeling. She also looks forward to helping develop our alumnae network.
