Vanessa hails from the wonderful city of San Francisco, born and raised, and still residing in the Mission District. She currently works in the Intellectual Property group of the legal department at Salesforce as a Senior Trademark Paralegal. Prior to joining Salesforce, she was a member of the legal teams at Pillsbury LLP and Gap Inc. where her role encompassed trademark portfolio management, marketing review and pricing & promotional work. She is completing law school this spring 2016 at the University of San Francisco.
Vanessa holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Ethnic Studies from the University of California at Berkeley, class of 2000. Her passions include poetry, art, fashion and the pursuit of happiness. Vanessa is married to fellow San Francisco native, Neil Hallinan. They are proud parents to daughter, and future Trenzuda, Xochitl.
